San Diego Zoo

Following are few of the many exhibits at SD Zoo. It is a small place, close t0 downtown and next to Balboa botanical gardens

You could take a bus tour and see most of the important exhibits. The tour lasts about 40 mins and gives you enough insight to plan for the rest of the day. Since the zoo was constructed in a very small place, every bit of available land was used and you have many elevation variations. S0 plan on hiking up and down few slopes through the day. You can find a lot of plant species in the park which creates a refreshing environment. Koalas, Pandas, wallabies, anacondas are few of the interesting exhibits. You could easily plan on spending a day to see every exhibit of the park. But if you have been to other zoos, and are used to walking slopes, half a day would be quite enough to see it.
